40 day Meditation – Rhythmic Harmony for happiness

Join YogasYoga for a 40 day meditation.

-Sit in a an easy pose (usually a cross leg position, however, sit in the position that is easiest for you),
-Keep eyes 1/16 open,
-Men: Left hand forms “Shuni mudra” with the tip of your thumb and ring finger touching, Right hand with your thumb and middle finger touching,
-Women: Left hand with the tip of your thumb and middle finger touching, Right hand with your thumb and ring finger touching,
-Hands rest on your knees,
-Chant this mantra in monotone;
Guru Guru Wahe Guru,
Guru Ram Das Guru

Begin this mantra for 11 minutes and slowly increase your time each day to 31 minutes.

This mantra is a maithuna. It is called the “ecstasy of consciousness“.  It is so vibratory your lips, your upper palate, your tongue, and your entire surroundings feel a vibratory effect. It was Yogi Bhajan’s personal mantra. When our lives are in danger, Yogi Bhajan said to chant this and we’d always be protected.

Through this mantra the impossible becomes pure, simple, truthfully possible, because you have given values and you have given yourself, soul, and spirit to those given values. It is then that everything is manifested.
